Zagreb has an ever growing number of hotels and a wide range of accommodation options for visitors to choose from. The best hotels in Zagreb generally offer a high standard of comfort and hospitality to guests, as well as a variety of special offers, weekend getaway deals and other discounts throughout the year. On the other hand, for a city of its size, Zagreb does not have many good low-cost hotels, leaving it to hostels and private lets to fill in the gap. The exhibits themselves invite visitors to discover the human side in each of the superheroes and also to find a superhero inside themselves.

Zagreb Population

Zagreb, the Croatian capital, has a population of 792,875 inhabitants, more than any other Croatian city, based on the latest census figures from 2011.

The number of residents is likely much higher due to a significant influx of immigrants. The larger metropolitan area, which includes the Zagreb County, is home to 1,113,111 people, or about a quarter of Croatia’s total population. In 2011, the country had a permanent population of 4,284,889. The numbers are on the decline and will likely go below 4 million people in the next 15 years due to emigration, a declining working population (ages 16 to 65), and a low fertility rate.
